Log price

Log a grocery price in under ten seconds.

Item, store, size, price. That's the whole form. PricePrint is built so that logging a price in the aisle is faster than reading the sale tag — because if it isn't, you won't do it.

How it works

Every entry has four fields. The item autocompletes from things you've logged before, so the second banana log is one tap. Store works the same way. Size and unit let PricePrint compute the per-ounce or per-count price behind the scenes — that's what makes the Compare and Sale Check screens actually work.

Hit save and the log is written to your device's IndexedDB. No request goes out. No server gets your shopping list. The same database is what powers every other screen.

FAQ
Do I need an account?
No. PricePrint has no accounts and no sign-up. The "your data" stored locally is yours alone — there's literally no place to sync it to.
What if I forget the size on the package?
Skip the size field and just log the price you paid. You'll lose the per-unit comparison for that one log, but the price still counts toward your history.
Can I edit a log later if I made a mistake?
Yes. Open the History tab, tap the row, edit any field, save. Or delete the log entirely.
Why not let the camera scan the price tag?
That would either need a server (breaks the privacy promise) or a 50MB OCR model in your browser (breaks the speed promise). Typing four fields is faster than waiting for any scanner.
