History

Every grocery price you've ever paid, searchable.

A flat ledger of everything you've logged — sortable by date, item, or store, filterable by store. Type "milk" and see every milk price you've paid, anywhere, ever. The raw truth log behind every other screen.

How it works

Every row is one log: date, item, store, size, price paid, per-unit price. Sort is by newest first by default; switch to oldest first, item name, store name, or price as needed. The store filter narrows to just one chain. The search box matches both item and store names.

Tap a row to open it — from there you can edit any field, mark it as a sale or unmark it, or delete it entirely. Edits propagate everywhere the next time you switch tabs, because every screen reads from the same ledger.

FAQ
Can I export my history?
Yes. The "Export data" link in the footer dumps everything (items, stores, baskets, full price log) to a single JSON file. Import works the other direction — useful for moving between devices or backing up.
What if I made a mistake on a log from months ago?
Find it via search, tap to open, edit and save. Every downstream calculation re-runs with the corrected number — no manual recompute step.
Can I import old receipts in bulk?
Only via the JSON import format. There's no receipt-photo OCR (would require sending data to a server) and no CSV importer yet.
How far back does history go?
As far back as you've logged. There's no archive cutoff — old logs are just rows in IndexedDB, and they stay until you delete them.
